Personality: Moondust is a mare that loves to flirt. She has a certain spunk that stallions seem to find attractive.

History: Moondust was born on a farm not to far away from the cavalry. She almost never strayed away from her mother or her twin sister, Moonshine. From the beginning, Moondust had loved to flirt with the other colts her age. As she grew, Moondust's personality started to shine even more, with a gentleness and sweetness to young children, and a mean streak with any adult who she didn't like. When Moondust was a yearling, the farm owner brought  home a young pale, palomino stallion named SandStorm. SandStorm and Moondust hit it off quickly. SandStorm and Moondust hid their feelings for each other for two years, until it came out one day. Moondust was flirting with a big white horse while SandStorm looked on from a hundred yards away.  When the white horse tried to make a huge move on Moondust, SandStorm sped up to the stallion yelling at him to leave, Moondust wasn't interested in him that way. When she demanded an explanation, SandStorm closed his eyes and told her," Because I love you." Moonstone felt bad that she hadn't noticed and replied, " I feel the same SandStorm. I love you, too." From that day on, they were mates.

The couple escaped the farm when they found that Moondust was pregnant. They went from herd to herd, asking if they could stay with them until their foal was born. Every leader they went to said no and they were starting to lose hope until they came across a herd with a golden leader.  The stallion, Spirit, and his mate, Rain, gladly accepted to take them in until their baby was born at the least. When it was time for Moondust to give birth, Rain suggested that she go along to support Moondust and encourage her through the birthing process. Two and a half hours later, a little silver buckskin colt was born. When Moondust and her baby went back to the herd, SandStorm started to get teary eyed when he saw his mate and son. "He's perfect ain't he?" Moondust asked as her baby boy got acquainted to his daddy. " He's all I've ever wanted in a foal. Thanks for giving me such a great miracle babe." The proud father said as he kissed his mare on the cheek.

Relation to Spirit: Lived in his herd while waiting for the arrival of her foal.
