Personality: Ayla is somewhat shy, and sometimes dependent on others. From a scale of 1 to 10, she has self confidence at about a 5. She does not think she is pretty whatsoever, and often thinks that she doesn't deserve the few friends she does have. She is also very nerdy, fast, and very rarely, hyper. When needed, she has a temper, and is not afraid to let it loose. She can't stand to see others picked on, and will stand up for them. (Read her history to find out what she ends up becoming)
Likes: Being by herself sometimes, when others accept her, able to help others, making friends, a very light snow (Not the heavy type you get in a blizzard,) able to have a clear mind, the quiet, the woods, singing.
Dislikes: Being disrespected, feeling like no one likes her, losing her temper, when someone insults her, people talking behind her back.
History
----NOTE---- When reading her history, please keep in mind some parts are put in there to make it seem like a horse's history. Some stuff, such as her being unaccepted in the calvary and running away, (The calvary being my home) never happened to me. I love my family very much, and would never run away. Enjoy!)
My mother was a brood mare in the calvary. My father was Granite, the Colonel's horse. They were bred together to create the perfect horse, who had speed and stamina, but who would be passive enough to allow a rider. That horse was supposed to be me.
I was okay as far as foals go. I never thought I was perfect, though my mother encouraged me that I was perfect in her eyes. The other foals liked to get under my skin, which often resulted in me going up in tears. I always had a few friends who tried to comfort me, but I felt that they were just putting up with me, and didn't want to upset me even more.
The time came for me to be taken away from my mother, and her to go back to the mare barn. I hated the idea of her being taken away from me, in fact it horrified me. I didn't want to be left alone. But it happened anyway, and along with it came training. I wasn't very easy to train. I would rear, buck, and carry on until I was exhausted. I was never broken under saddle, but they did use me for carrying supplies to wounded soldiers.
One day, while I was getting hitched up to the wagon, A couple of the other horses started tormenting me, saying I was useless, and didn't deserve to be a Cavalry horse. I thought all this was true, and took off on my own.
I took pretty well to the wild. I found my own little "home" to stay at, and suddenly realized I was free of the constant nagging at the back of my head telling me not to take a step out of my comfort zone, or try to be who I wanted to be. I found that I was very fast, racing against the Eagle on the days that I ventured out to the rolling green fields of the Cimarron.
Although I was alone, I felt happy for once. No more watching for the horrid horses who would constantly antagonize me. No more having to be someone I wasn't. I could do what I wanted and whoever I pleased.
But as the months dragged on, I realized how lonely I was. I needed someone by my side to comfort me from the horrible nightmares I woke up screaming from at night. Someone to talk to about my past. Someone to be there with me through everything.
I know that that someone will most likely never come. Who would want to be with a girl like me, anyway? Someone in the right mind wouldn't want to spend the rest of their life with me.
