History...

Rusty was born in the Cimarron herd. He became best friends with Aponi, Spirit's daughter. As a foal, Aponi and Rusty played together a lot, they did everything together. Their favourite game was probably daring each other to do things, like licking icicles and kicking beehives. The two got in trouble often but they were easily likeable.

Rusty grew up in the Cimarron herd as a very joyful and playful stallion. He had slightly immature moments, but other than that he was trusted. He continued to be friends with Aponi, he develped a slight crush on her but refused to let anyone know. But one day, Aponi went missing. Rusty and the other herd members became very worried. Rusty paced and galloped around impatiently.

Rusty waited for ages and became very depressed. Spirit, Rain and Esperanza went to search for her, and they were gone for ages. But one day they came back. Rusty greeted Aponi, he was so happy to see her, but then saw that she found herself a parter named Deseronto. Rusty and Deseronto got on well, but due to Deseronto's such good relationship with Aponi, Rusty always held a bit of a grudge against Deseronto. But he was slight friends with Deseronto anyway. But he kept a good friendship with Aponi, but the friendship wasn't as strong as before.
