Personality:Quiet and shy at first but learns to warm up and loves kids.Is very protective over Julie and her new family. Would often miss the wild and hopes one day she can return to it.If challanged she takes it to make her look strong but in reality she is a soft horse with a kind heart

History:Born in the wild and close to her mother Lavender.She lived with her mother until she was a year, but got captured by a guy named (Bill), who worked for Sgt.Adams.Sgt. Adams commanded Bill to go catch wild horses who are wild and free. He did his job but fell in love with the female Sabino Grullo.Thought it be perfect for his daughter Julie. Even though Billy isn't rich, he is a more middle class cowboy that did his job and got paid for it. Julie loved Amaya the first day Billy brought her home. He asked Sgt.Adam if he could bring her home so that her daughter could become a cowgirl and have her own show horse business.At first Sgt. Adam didn't like the idea but Bill paid for the horse so he has no choice but to give him Amaya. Julie, named her horse Amaya. 

At age fourteen, Julie continues to train and raise Amaya. They became best of friends for Amaya warmed up to Julie  right away with her kindness.But every so once in awhile, Amaya would often dream of roaming the plains,being wild and free but loves her new family with all her heart and would do anything to protect and make them happy.

Eventually Julie  understands that she has to breed her horse soon. One day, Bill caught another male horse named Rage.He is another male Sabino he caught so they have to break him in. He was so wild that Bill, didn't want Julie to train him so he broke him in then he became friendly and ends up mating those two together and make some foals to sell for money. 

At first Rage want nothing to do with being breed having a mate or even being trained by humans but learned to open his heart and made friends with humans but eventualy Amaya fell in love,beecoming matesAmaya does yearn to be with her herd cause she  get tired of being near humans alot but loves her girl Julie.she wishes to take Julie with her to her herd but it would be too risky to take her for Bill would probably catch them all. 

If Amaya wasn't going to be caught and used a show horse, she would have been the next alpha female in Windbreaker's herd.
