History:

Dixie's Desire was born in the Cimarron herd soon after Strider vanished. She grew a strong bond with Spirit and Esperanza and often played with Spirit when he wasn't racing. Dixie's Desire always loved winter with the icicles and snow, she laughed when Spirit got his tounge stuck to icicles, that was when she learned her lesson not to lick icicles. As Dixie grew older she matured but also had a love for birds and animals. She ran into a cougar once. The cougar managed to pin her to the ground but then Spirit came and chased the cougar away. When Spirit dissapeared one day, Esperanza told the herd that the cowboys had taken him. Dixie's Desire grew sad and lonely that her brother had vanished, she waited for ages. Then one lucky day, Spirit came back with Rain and Dixie greeted him and became very happy. She became one of Rain's best friends.

Description:

Dixie's Desire is a bay mustang mare who loves spending time with her brother Spirit. She loves all animals and is gentle with foals. Dixie is a fiesty mare who is strong on the inside. However, she is very sensative and gets depressed easily. She is gentle with foals and kind to other herd members. Dixie's personality is very joyful and good, he love for her friends, family and other animals makes her popular with other herd members.
