Bio: Xerxes was born to a single mare that had to be helped by her older children. Xerxes never knew his father because he left when he found out that Anastasia was pregnant again and he didn't want another foal. Xerxes grew up hearing stories about his father from his older siblings. According to them he was a very harsh stallion, causing Xerxes to not like the sounds of him and had resentment of his father because he never got chance to meet him. When Xerxes was four, he left his little family to try and start a herd on his own. But his plans got cut off after he was captured by the cavalry. When Spirit came into the base, Xerxes was very amused watching Spirit throw every rider he had on his back and was disapointed when the colonel never came off and hit the ground.  One day Spirit broke through the corral and the colonel was going to shoot him but the indian they held hostage called Little Ceek, cut himself from the post he was tied to and jumped on Spirit. The pair raced through the stockade freeing all the horses, including Xerxes. Xerxes thanked Spirit while he ran free once more continue on to start a herd.
