History
Kadhiroli galloped fater through the woods, her ears pinned back, her eyes narrowed. Not again, She thought, hearing the gun fire of the Calvary on her tail. They had been chasing after her from time after time, knowing her capability of running at great speeds, but Kadhiroli knew they were wrong. She knew the land like the back of her hoof, so of course she'd be abel to manuever fast! Snorting and panting, she came to a small, grassy clearing with hardly any trees. Kad smirked before making a sharp turn, hopping into the woods. The Calvary ran on,totally oblivious.
Later on, she trotted back towards the Lakota village, anticipating to see her cousin. Rain sighed, her ears tiwtching back and forth before she heard a whinny. Rain turned to look towards her cousin, standing there, ears perked. Kadhiroli whinnied, doing a tiny dance to show she was happy. Rain reared back, whinning like a fool. But of course...this was the past.
Present
Ears drooping and tail low, Kadhiroli looked around the now damaged village. Tents were on fire and people were badly injured. W-what happened, her thoughts spoke as she slowly trudged through the once calm, happy place, green eyes scanned the are. She let out a slight whinny to see if anyone heard her but to no avail...
Kad trotted on, noticing someone laying upon the ground, huffing and grunting. She whinnied, running up to who she knew has Little Creek, her former rider. His body was badly wounded as she pressed her dark snout to his shoulder. He turned to her, giving a light smile, laying his bronze hand on her snout. "Hello, Kadhiroli, where have you been? I've been worried and so had..." His voice trailed off as he turned away, a tear sliding down his cheek. Kadhiroli turned her gaze to see her aunt, laying upoin the cold, hard ground. Her mouth slightly open, a gunshot wound below her eye and her feet bent awkwardly. Kadhiroli's eyes couldn't help but widen as she whinnied sadly, stomping her hooves to the ground. Little Creek gazed up at her quickly, trying to calm her. "Shhh shh.." His gentle voice soothed her as she calmed herself, snorting loudly, looking towards the ground. Her Aunt was gone and her cousin nowhere to be found. Kadhiroli continued to stay in the village as it was rebuilt. (will be continued...)
