History

Casper was born at a small ranch near the cimarron herd. He was used as a cow pony after he reached the age of 5, taking months at a time to return to the ranch. When a drought struck, the calves began to die, and without the meat to sell to buyers, the ranch had no money. They were forced to sell some horses, including Casper, to a couple of cowboys. The cowboys then sold the horses to the Calvary, where most of them would be used for war horses. Casper was a exception, as he was to small. Casper was used to pull small carts, and round up wild horses.
