Adams, and never wishes to part with the man who saved him as a foal.
History:
Hayden was born outside the Calvary fort on a cold night. His mother was a paint mustang mare from the Lakota village, who had fallen in love with Granite. When she gave birth to Hayden, she grew very protective of him and dared not to let anyone take him away. The next morning, Sgt. Adams found the young mother and foal and took them into the fort. He fixed them a warm stall and made sure they were comfortable. Sgt. Adams promised he'd look after the mare and foal and that they would be no trouble. Hayden liked Sgt. Adams right away. When the man would come to the stall to check on them, Hayden would go to the door and receive a pat from the Sargent. Three years passed before Sgt. Adams began to train Hayden. Instead of breaking him, he chose to gentle him. This made their bond grow and soon Hayden let Sgt. Adams ride him. The first ride was to become a good memory for Hayden. They rode close to the Lakota village when he spot a lovely mare. Many could say he fell in love with this mare and became love struck. She was black with a curly mane and tail. Her eyes were a lovely brown and sparkled with joy. Snorting, the stallion eyed her with longing eyes before Sgt. Adams turned him back to head for the fort. Two years passed before Hayden escaped. He headed for the Lakota village, heading strait for the mare whom he still was deeply in love with. The mare was over joyed to see him and they both spent the night getting to know one another. But when morning came, Hayden was gone. He headed back to the fort but ran into Sgt. Adams who had gone out to look for him. Many months later Hayden sadly found out the mare died giving birth to his foal. But he moved on with his life and knew that he never wanted to fall in love again; Love was always a tragic for him. Hayden soon found himself enjoying life in the Calvary. Sgt. Adams treated him well and always took him for rides in the evening. The evening rides were now growing longer. Sgt. Adams rode Hayden close to the Lakota village, for he was in love with a young Indian women. Hayden enjoyed going near the village, and soon met his yearling son, Noah. The yearling looked like him, but had bright eyes like his mother. Hayden and Noah soon bonded but Noah left a year later to explore the west. Sgt. Adam and the young Indian women soon met near the meadow near the Lakota village. Hayden liked to watch the two talk, though he soon grew lonely. But his loneliness did not last long, for soon he met a young two year old mare named Maryann. Hayden approached her and they soon admitted their feelings to one another. But fate soon came upon Hayden once more. On a cold rainy day, his mother became ill. Sgt. Adams and many of the other Calvary men who were fond of the mare tried to save her. They each took turns trying to feed her mash and sitting with her. But as night approached, she slowly passed away. Hayden was heart broken and tried to move on. Maryann helped him and comforted him when Sgt. Adams took him on their evening rides to the Lakota village. Three years passed. Hayden was still close to Maryann, whom was his best friend. Haden saw less of his evening rides, as Sgt. Adams had injured his right leg. Though he could still walk, it became hard for him to ride. But he still visited Hayden whom had been by his side for ten years. Hayden missed Maryann, and had not seen her in six months. Though he wished to go see the mare, there was little ways he could get out. But as Sgt.Adams started to realize he could never ride again, he knew what he had to do. A week later, Sgt. Adams came up to Hayden's stall and led him out. He limped to the gates of the fort and led the stallion out. Hayden did not know what was going on, but he hoped they were going to the Lakota village. But Sgt. Adams took off his halter and spoke a few words before stepping back. Hayden knew now that he was free. But his heart did not want to leave the man whom he staid with for ten years. He gave one last glance at Sgt. Adams before galloping off. Hayden galloped to the Lakota village and looked around for the gray mare. But to his disappointment, she had left. But still not losing hope, the stallion galloped off in search for her. But he had no luck, and decided it was for the best, though it upset him. Three years later, Hayden headed back to the Calvary fort. He hid in a strand of trees and watched for his master. But when Sgt. Adams walked out of the fort, he had a child cradled in his arms and a women by his side. The stallion backed up and felt peace run through him. He now galloped west as the sun set.

Though I had a little trouble planning his bio, because it's a little frustrating to try to figure out good Spirit relations, I think it turned out pretty good. X3
