History
Charlemagne was born around a month after Spirit. As soon as she could walk and run (without faceplanting every two seconds) she began looking up to him; his courage, his sunny nature, his fire. She was always there on the sidelines, watching his carefully and cooly, until she finally decided to introduce herself.
And, as they say, opposites attract.
He invited her to a game of tag, and not long after they were friends. As childhood pals go, they met every day, playing, laughing, and being downright silly together. They basically grew up together, and alongside the other foals and their parents, learned the ways of the plains.
As Spirit matured, he began his journey to being Leader of the Herd. Charlie saw less and less of him as time went on, but they still found the time to just hang out as friends. Charlie savored these scant times, and loved it all the more that Spirit chose to put his free time in her hooves. And now, it seemed their relationship would not close, as many childhood friendships do.
But it wasn't only Spirit who matured. As Charlemagne grew, she blossomed into a beautiful and graceful young mare, becoming the apple of many a stallion's eye. It wasn't long before she fell into the arms of a handsome young stallion named Dashton, lost in the fruits of first love. Thus shortening the time she and Spirit had together. Soon, it seemed all would be lost for the two young friends.
But, as relationships go, she soon fell hard from a breakup, and who else but Spirit was there to pick her back up. Which became a pattern for the two. A nasty breakup was no match for the bond the two had. Charlie never understood why until the day the Herd found him struggling in the humans' grasp. That same night she realized what she had felt all along. She was in love with her very best friend.
As days turned into weeks, with no sign of Spirit's return, Charlie felt lost. She looked ot the stars every night before sleeping, wishing fervently for Spirit's safe return. The seed of the love she felt for him blossomed, and she knew she had to tell him soon.
The day he returned, of course, was not her best day. Finding him head over heels for a mare he met with the humans, instead of her, was a sort of kick in the gut to her. But as the regal and refined mare she was, she didn't hate Rain for taking his love from her. Nor did she ever admit her feelings. At least she had her friend back, and that was all that really mattered to her.
Other/Special
"Charlemagne" is the name of a King/Roman emporer from around 700-800.
Yes, her parents are OPEN, but remember this: They have to be reasonably older than her, and I'd rather her not have siblings yet, thank you. PM me, I have to accept them first.
Admirers are open, but please don't make them just to have them sitting around. Charlemagne here is my first charrie and only for a while, so I'd like her relationships to be real to BOTH of us. I only want a few, I dont want an entire herd to be after her. (:
Friends are open as well, but take note of the above. I really only want one or two more, she's not a social butterfly.
PLEASE MAKE ALL RELATED CHARACTERS WELL MADE AND USED! Thank you. c:
If I find her stolen, it will not be pretty for you kapish?
