The rain filled my ears and my mane was all wet and dirty my mom was lied down tired of giving me birth I moved close to her trying to make her stand up my dad a black stallion that was almost invisible at the night saw me with joy and happiness I was so concentrated on him that I didn't notice that my mom was already up I searched her for some milk and after "breakfast" we returned to the herd all were so happy to see me a grow ended with the happiness and attacked my mom the herd run away with me on the back after that all called me as Balam.
My childhood was full of joy and games even if my mother wasn't there. my dad found a new lead mare and months later she got pregnant of my brother my grand mother came for a visit that day and lead me to the Lakota tribe I pass there all my next year I had two new friends that were the horses of the chiefs my day of graduation for being a Lakota horse came and they gave me feathers and painted a jaguar pattern on my back putting me agin the name of Balam.
