Personality: 

Thinks he’s the roughest and toughest thing since the first western settlers. He is tough with a harsh personality. He thinks that because he is primarily a predator- that it puts him on top of all herbivores. He is arrogant and has his selfish side. He also has his more caring moments from time to time- he is extremely protective of those he cares about. He loves bragging and embellishing on his stories and his bravery is nothing short of reckless.

History:

He was born in the canyons around where Spirit calls home to his family of 8. With 5 other siblings, Cliff often felt his actions and talents weren’t appreciated. When him and his siblings were old enough they were taught how to catch their first dinner- small field mice and other rodents. It was when Cliff accidentally protected one of Spirits herd mates by killing a snake that he began demanding attention. Spirit thanked Cliff’s family and announced that he was going south with the herd because of the poor foraging here. Cliff’s family moved because all their prey and food seemed to be moving off the land as well.

Cliff was separated from his family on the night the forest and nearby prairie were set ablaze. He lost them when a stampede of horses and other herd animals forced him the take higher ground in the bluffs or be trampled. He continues to search for his family- trying to use his “expert nose” He ends up finding Vida, Drexel and Delphine instead. Knowing his family may be near Vida’s herd he joins them- he says that he will track the herd. But are his skills that good…?

Relation to Spirit: Vida is Spirit and Rain’s daughter- Cliff is part of her make-shift family for now. Cliff killed a snake that was about to strike a member of Spirit’s herd, thus Spirit is thankful for him and his family.
