Barley: Barley is a very quiet and helpful sister to Draco. She is used as a pack-horse by the Lakota Indians but is quite frail, so Draco sometimes helps her by walking behind her and pushing.
Bright Season: Doesn't go out for rides with Draco much, but he sort-of likes this because he can have more time with his siblings and friends. Bright Season is very careful when grooming Draco and when preparing him for riding.
Spirit: Draco has only met the buckskin stallion once or twice, but they straight-away became great friends on the first meeting - He realized they had quite similar personalities.
Roam: Roam is Bright Season's other horse. She and Draco were not overly fond of each-other in the beginning, but the bad feelings did not last long and they were soon good friends. If he has something he wants to know or ask, Draco usually goes to her for simple answers.

History:
(According to Draconian)
I can't recall where I was born, but I will tell you about my stay at the Pueblo Tribe and the move to the Lakota village. I was young and healthy at the time, ready for adventure and excitement. My sister, a few other horses and I were getting groomed by some of the Pueblo members for a reason I did not know. My sister was taken away from me to be ridden on by the Chief Pueblo tribe Chief, and I was to be ridden on by my owner, Bright Season. She mounted me, then we headed off.
Days passed, and we travelled many miles. My legs became sore, and at one point I was extremely worried about my sister; ''Where is she? I thought, because it was very misty. Where have they taken her to?'' My head spun with confusion. Bright Season spoke kind words to sooth me, but they didn't seem to work. I had kept on, my head low. Tears came down, I looked up to see mist and sand. Then the mist cleared after a few hours, and I noticed some moving figures. I saw strange Indian horses and, squinting, finally spotted my sister; the Pueblo Chief had just ridden her on to scout head. But joyfully I ran to her, tired and limp. We embraced each other - I didn't want to lose her again.
The rest of my journey was a merry one, my sister and I talked and chatted to each other. It was not long before we came to a Native Indian camp. Barley and I were dismounted and taken to a pen. I made many friends there, and was happy and content in my new home, the Lakota Village.
