Snake was born in the cavalry fort, when his mother was captured. His father was the nutorious and evil Albino. He was known for his evil ways and his large growing herd. His mother was a sweet appaloosa mare named Snowdrop. She was a dazzling sight, a grand prize for any stallion. She was wild and free though, not what The Albino had expected. Her dazzling looks tricked stallions, for she wasn't the rose they thought she was. She was fiery and strong, and a real struggle. When The Albino caught her, she never gave up. By the time she escaped his herd, it was too late, she was carrying the Albino's foal.
She ran across the plain, the wind whistling past her, making her mane flow. She was soon caught by soldiers, and taken to the cavalry fort. Snowdrop was 7 months pregnant at the time, and 2 months later sh gave birth to a black foal. The foal had fiery red eyes like his father, but Snowdrop would hate to see him grow up like him. She made a promise that she would guard the foal with her life, and woud die for him if she had to. A year passed on, and the colt showed his strength and ability off to the soldiers. The colonel took interest in him, and sent him to training for a mount.
The foal was named Snake, although his mother named him Des. Only she called him Des, even his friends called him Snake. Snake hated the name Des, and was embarrased everytime his mother called him it. Snowdrop watched Snake grow into a fine stallion, and the colonels horse.
One day the top soldiers were sent on a raid with the colonel to another fort. The colonel was supposedly killed, and the soldiers blamed it on Snake. They called it 'tradition' to blame a horse on it's riders death. Snake was released into the wild to die. That's when he met his friend Viper. Viper accepted Snake into his herd along with his lovely mate Bella.
Snake became a guard, and that's when he caught a beautiful mare named Snowstorm. She had piercing ice blue eyes that could stare straight into your soul, little did Snake know she was blind. She was young and fiery, and was so alike his mother when she was younger. Snake took her back to the herd, and grew closer to her every day. It was one fateful night that Snowstorm missed her father and tried to run away, but there was a blizzard coming. Snow got caught in the strongest part and went missing. Snake tried to find her, and collapsed, close to death. That was until he heard Snow's terrified whinnies, he got back up again. He called out her name, and soon found her lying shivering in a cave. Snake lay next to her that night, and Snow confessed her feelings to Snake. She loved him.
That morning, Snake told Snow what had happened. He took her back to the herd and asked her why she ran away. She told him why, and Snake knew it as the right thing to take her home. When they arrived at the Thasarian herd, Looking-Glass looked at Snake with happiness in his eyes. He thanked him for returning his daughter, and invited him into the herd. Snake declined it, knowing that he would never settle in such a big herd. He returned to Viper's herd, with a lonely heart. Months later, much to Snake's delight, Snow returned. He finally asked her to be his mate, and she happily accepted. They now travel togehter, with a foal soon on it's way...
