Midnight Star was born within the Calvary camp just before night fall, her mother Freedom Fire had a tough time with the foaling of her third foal. The Calvary men had heard noises within her stall and went to go and have a look, one of the Calvary men went and got the colonel and that the colonel wanted to put down both the mother and foal, but if it wasn’t for a brave and stubborn young lady and her determine for those horses the colonel would of shot them.

The young girl saved the lives of Freedom Fire and Midnight Star, when Midnight Star was born she saw this young lady and went to her and in her heart she knew that she was the one.

Midnight Star’s coat is black with 2 white ankle socks one on her front leg and one on her hind leg with a white bald face along with a pink muzzle and a small strip connecting to the muzzle markings.

When Midnight Star was growing up she had a mind of your own and that she wanted to explore around the camp but her father wouldn’t let her as he was very protective of his son and two daughters.

Midnight Star had both of her parent’s personality as her mother was gentle as a kitten and that her father was high-spirited and very difficult. Her markings also came from her father’s side; Midnight Star was more like her father then her mother.

When she was two years old they found this handsome young stallion that had the same personality as Midnight, and figures that they will be great together.
