Personality

Nevada is a very nice horse, but when she's angry, she won't hesitate to lash out. She has grown braver over the years and less skittish. She is also very loving to her mate, her friend, and her offspring.

History

Nevada was born into a herd of wild Knabstrup horses. Like Nevada, all of the herd members had spotted coat patterns. Nevada was one of the most stunning. In no time, she had a yearling named Crimsonfire as her crusher. At first, Nevada paid no attention to Crimsonfire. But over the months, she began to notice him more. Crimsonfire had already fallen for Nevada. Every once in a while, he would bring Nevada little gifts, such as flowers and apples. Nevada didn't appreciate Crimsonfire's gifts at first, but she soon began to fall for him.

Despite her stunning appearance, Nevada didn't have many friends. Most of the horses her age already had plenty of friends and didn't want anymore. And since Crimsonfire was always fierce when he tried to protect Nevada, the other horses stayed away from her. The trouble with Crimsonfire was that he thought he was the only horse who could be Nevada's friend. Nevada wasn't very interested in the other horses her age. The only other horse she really liked was Crimsonfire. And since she didn't have any siblings, Nevada would often hang out with Crimsonfire.

As Nevada grew older, her parents let her go with a group of a few other horses to raid rival herds. But Nevada had a big problem with doing this. Every time she tried to sneak up on a rival herd, she would make too much noise and alert the rivals. Her hooves would loosen a few pebbles, she would crash through the underbrush, etc. But whenever Nevada was out on a raid, she would alert the rival herd. Then the rivals would raid Nevada's herd. most of the horses in Nevada's herd blamed Nevada for the unexpected raid. They would say mean stuff about her. Crimsonfire tried to protect Nevada against the mean comments.

One day, Nevada believed that her herd didn't want her anymore, so she left and traveled on her own. Crimsonfire was very upset, so he followed Nevada. When he caught up with her, the two began to travel with each other for a few months. But Crimsonfire began to miss the herd, so he went back. No matter how much he loved Nevada, his love for his family was stronger.

Nevada was upset to see Crimsonfire leave. Now that he had left her, she felt unwanted. She had never felt so alone. But one day, however, Nevada came across a herd called the Skyline Herd. The leaders let her join, but the other horses picked on her for all the mistakes she had made when she was younger. Nevada was so upset. A stallion named Snowcrest tried to comfort her. He told her that he was a misfit, too. Soon, Nevada began to fall for Snowcrest and he did the same.

One day, Snowcrest's old herd and the Great Horses raided the Skyline Herd. The Skyline Herd fought back and won. Snowcrest and Nevada became an official couple.
