Personality: Mahkah is a easy-minded horse. He is more steady than some stallions, and is actually a bit hesitant. He had always been a weaker foal, and never wanted to join in the rougher games. He is very cautious and watchful, but in times of real danger he would never become a coward. He always puts others ahead of him, caring for them. He is very selfless and won't let himself get anything better than those he loves. He was used to taunting as a foal, due to his gentle nature, and sometimes it got him real down. But he managed to put the hard times behind him and knows that he can stand up for himself, and is good in his own way.
History: Mahkah was born in the Lakota village in the peak of the spring months. His mother was a native's horse, while his father was a wild rogue. Unsteady from the start, Mahkah was fussed over and coddled by his mother. She was a very worrisome mare, and tended to be overprotective. Mahkah, of course, wasn't a strong foal and sometimes appreciated his mom's attention, but as he grew it began to be annoying. Especially when the group of boisterous yearlings was about. Mahkah did not have a friend then, and was more or less depressed at this point due to all the bullying.
However, he recovered eventually as he spent more time by himself or acquainting with the Lakota people. He was still very nervous to a lot of things, but he was smart and overcame challenges. Mahkah pushed aside the grip of his mother too, and she let him go, able to grow without her watchful stare--now it was just calm guidance. He was very close to her still, and loved her very much. He had never met his father, but heard he was a very brave and powerful stallion. According to his mother.
