History;

Shimmer was a normal junior show-pony until one day Amulet showed up out of nowhere and it was love at first sight! Like Romeo and Juliet, Amulet was considered a barbaric brute my Shimmer's family, but to Amulet's family Shimmer was considered to be a stuffy little show pony diva brat. They ignored the haterz and met in the night in secret. Only Glimmer (Shimmer's older sister) knew about Amulet.

One day when Shimmer was 3, she jumped a fence and spent the night with Amulet. A week later, she realized she was pregnant. With a foal on the way, she had no peace from other mares asking who the father was. She caves under the peer pressure and tells about Amulet. They were in shock that a well-bred show-mare would dare to mate with a lowly ruffian mustang stallion. They finally left her to peace and quiet, but halfway through gestation her owner sold her to the army.

She had planned to have Amulet drop by that day and try to get on the good side of Shimmers friends. She screamed as the loaded her into the trailer, and Amulet raced over and chased away the men. Amulet led her to his father's herd where he thought she could stay, but Amulet's father was furious. He started to attack Shimmer, intending to put an end to his son's foolish romance, but Amulet knocked him over and they ran away. They ended up at the Cimmaron and decided to stay, but changed their minds about two months later. They ran away again and found an abandoned territory and claimed it. It turns out that Glimmer had followed Shimmer and Amulet and she caught up and joined the new herd; Forbidden.

Another twist; Glimmer had been trailed by a shy stallion who had secretly crushed on her.

Loners joined and Forbidden grew. Shimmer had a healthy filly named Lofn.
