Personality: Imela, as her name implies, is a sweet, caring mare with an amazing sense of imagination and great motherhood. She is loved by most foals and stallions often try and offer her their hand in becoming lead mare, but she's loyal to the ones she loves, and would never cheat or lie, unless it was for the good of her family. Imela is good at expressing her emotions and warms up to horses easily, which makes it hard for her if they need to leave, or pass. Imela has a golden heart and gives to almost everyone in need, wether its making them laugh or providing them shelter amongst her herd.

HISTORY:
Imela was born into the safety of the Cimmaron herd, she was treasured by most of the mares, but sadly abandoned by her parents at a young age. A mare in the herd, Candy, took Imela in and raised her as her own. But Imela couldnt stop thinking about her parents, her real parents. She was old enough when they abandoned her, to know what was going on, and she longed to find out why they left so carelessly. Still, she loved Candy as her own mother, sticking close to her most hours of the day.

As a yearling Imela began to wander further and further from the herds territory. She wanted to explore the world, and leave no rock unturned. One morning she was wandering near a small fort, she had no idea what it wa so she daringly approached. It wasnt the Cavalry fort luckily, but something still dreadful. It was a fighting arena, only small, but blood stained. A few horses were crouded around a fight between a big black stallion and a smaller bay stallion, she could see clearly through a grate in the wall, but unfortunately, got spotted by one of the veiwers. "What is SHE doing here!" He bellowed, an angry look on his face. Imela was frozen with fear, and all the stallions turned to look at her, their mighty muscles rippling under their scarred skin and mattered fur. The large black, brindled stallion stood by and watched as the other angry horses tried to break the grate, to get to Imela. She finally had the sense to move and ran as fast as she could out of there.

Imela couldnt stop thinking about that night after that, even when she turned three she was scared to leave the safety of the herd. But that was until Channer arrived, he was a handsome stallion with a kind nature, and he was instantly hooked on Imela, just as she was toward him. The two shared an instant connection and before long, he asked her to start a herd with him, she happily said yes and set off to start her own family. A few months later, she was the leader of a large herd, and about to give birth. The process was long and hard, and sadly her foal died a few hours after birth. Imela was heart broken, as she had dreamed of having her own foal. She slipped into mild depression, and stood down from lead mare. But when the time came when she wanted to leave the herd, Channer wouldnt allow it, it got to the point where he had guards watching her every hour of the day. She was miserable.

One morning, all her nightmares turned, so she thought. A stallion was in the herds territory, and Channer knew. He set out to find the mysterious stallion. And took his guards with him. Imela instantly woke from her 'sleep' and followed Channer, incase the stallion he was pursueing would save her. But once she saw this stallion, she instantly knew he wouldnt. It was the black and brindled stallion she had seen at the fight, scars and all. But he didnt look like a fighter anymore, he looked like he wanted to be left alone. Luckily Channer was somewhat dimwitted, and followed a different scent, leading away from the lone stallion. Imela was terrified, but knew this stallion wouldnt hurt her, she approached cautiously, and his face lit up at the sight of her. Imela felt safer after they talked for a while. His name was fading light, Fade for short. he told Imela he used to be fighting stallion, but hated what he had to do be one. He also apologized to her for letting the other stallions harras her, she forgave him and began helping him escape from Channers trail.

The two walked for hours until they reached a small forest, the sun was rising, setting an orange glow in the horizon. Fade and Imela were exhausted, but had crossed a large river so their scent couldn't be tracked. The two lay down to rest, in that time, they non stop talked, learning most things about eachother. Imela now felt safe arounf Fade, sticking by him until a few months later, he invited her to join his newly made herd, Imela was shocked, but felt happy when she was with him. So she said yes.
