Personality: Ida is a perky young mare, full of spirit and character. It's hard for this filly to take no for an answer, especially by her older brother, but she knows he means well. Ida is a little spit fire as well, always putting her brother to his limits on trying to keep a reign on her. Some may see her perkyness as bothersome, but she almost never fails at getting someone in a better mood. 

Likes: Teasing her brother. Rough housing. Meeting new horses. Making new friends. Foals. Running as fast as she can. Feeling safe with her brother.

Dislikes: Cold nights. Being alone. Wolves. The absense of her parents. When Denver loses his cool. Not having a close "girl" friend.

Denver: "My uptight brother... ok. He's really a cool guy underneath all the worry he carries on his shoulders. I know he holds the worst aftermath after mom and dad passed. I should make things easier for him, but it's hard sometimes. He's the best brother I could ask for and he understands me pretty well. I'm really lucky to have him here with me."

Biography: Ida doesn't remember much of her foalhood with her parents. She just remembers their sweet voices... and their laughter. She never had a chance to grow under the protective wings of her mother and father. Not long after she was weaned her parents were killed by a pack of wolves. 

Since then her big brother Denver has taken care of her, never letting her feel lost or alone in their fight for survival. What makes her the saddest is when she sees her brother sweating in his sleep, twitching, face reflecting pain and fear as the nightmares haunted him frequently in his sleep. She could never wake him up during one of these until the end of them. 

For now they're just trying to survive in a challenging world...
