History:
History: Shira was born on a winter morning. Her parents were delighted with her arrival. As she grew into a young filly her parents and herself would often wander around. Shira was a curious little girl and loved prancing aroung in the snow as her parents watched in enjoyment.
Months went by and she grew older, still by her parents side. Shira and her father had been grazing outside a forest when flames appeared out of nowhere. Shira and her father were unsure on where her mother was until they heard a whinney call out in pain. The fire was too strong to get through to her as Shira's father tried to find a way in to save her. It was too late, they couldn't hear her anymore as there was silence.
Teary eyed, Shira nuzzled her father's chest in grief. She had never lost someone before, and neither had he. The stallion turned to the sound of quiet laughter as he saw two men running away from the scene of the fire. He snorted and stamped his hoof and was about to take off until he realised who would care for his daughter. Shira noticed the two men too. Fury grew inside her heart at the sight of them. It was from then on she grew a hate for humans.
Years had passed, and Shira and her father wandered to a small stream and began to drink. They heard a whistle in the distance. Her father turned his head. More humans, but on horses this time. The men bolted down towards them. Shira's father urged her to run ahead as she did without hesitation. Her father followed behind, but before he could get any closer he found a rope around his neck. Shira watched as the one and only important thing to her left was being taken away from her again.
Weeks later Shira was wandering slower and slower. She couldn't keep her mind off humans. She wandered past a small shrub and stared at it with a frown. She snorted and launched he back feet back and slammed them onto the trunk of the shrub. It was clearly no match and had broken right off. Shira turned to it with a small smirk. How she'd love to do that to the humans that stole her father, and took her mother's life.
Shira was still on the move when one afternoon she stumbled upon a brown stallion. She looked at him and folded her ears back a little bit. She'd never seen a stallion like him. She felt an attraction to him as he offered her a place in his herd. She keenly agreed and became the first mare in his heard.
Months went on and the herd grew more and more. Shira had also fallen pregnant with Dingo's second foal. Shira wandered away from the herd when a roan stallion named Banshee approached her. She wasn't keen on his flirting, but he seemed to insist. Thunder of hooves soon approached the pair as Shira stepped back and knew it was Dingo, and that he was ready to fight. She watched as the two battled it out, and soon enough a winner was clear. Dingo had defeated Banshee. The stallion bolted off in bloody defeat as Shira rolled her eyes and wandered back to the herd.
A few weeks later, Shira had found herself about to give birth to the second foal of the herd. She found herself in a small shrub surrounded area and began to deliver. Soon enough her first son was born. He was a pale light creme brown, almost her colour. He had his father and mother's mane and markings combined. She cleaned up the colt and nickered for Dingo's attention. Dingo wandered over and saw his son for the first time. He gave a small smile as he watched him. Shira smiled as well and licked the colt's forelock. She named him Nero, as he snuggled beside her.(More will come.)
