Features: Light gray, 5 silvery scars from the eagles talons. His mane and tail are black. He has a scar on his white right eye from a sharp stone in the river, and his other eye is dark green. 

Owner: Devvyn (dead now) and kind of Little Brook for a short time (daughter of Little Creek)

Herd: Cimmaron

Personality: Wolf can seem a bit stuffy and antisocial at first, but is really quite kind and sentimental when you get to know him. He is very fatherly and kind to Alamo and Sugars. He is smart even is stressful situations, and will act quickly in danger (cougar+Kendal scene) and is "very modest considering who you really are" according to Esperanza.

History:

Wolf was unpopular in the herd and didnt have many friends, until the eagle came with a broken wing. He was the first to tame the eagle. Wolf was the heir of the Cimmaron, but the day after he found out he would have a sibling, Strider was killed in the buffalo stampede that drove Wolf from homeland. Eagle tried to pull him from the stampede, resulting in 5 nasty scars. Wolf ordered eagle to watch after and teach his unborn sibling (Spirit) and protect the herd. He had been injured by eagle and had to be treated by Indians, where he met Devvyn, who was shot by the colonel earlier that year. He became pretty popular in the tribe and grew pretty close to MorningGlory and the "gang". He helped raise Rain, but they never were as close as Wolf and the "gang". He saved Kendal's life and she began to warm up to him.

One day Wolf was patrolling the plains with Devvyn when he saw the bright coat of Alamo. He discovered the triplets, Ferrari, Alamo, and Sugars. He brought them to the tribe and learned that their dam was a former Cimarron mare and she had been bringing them to the Cimarron when she died. Wolf decided to bring them there, but only when they turned to yearlings.

In the raid where Rain was shot into the river, Wolf and Devvyn were fighting and Devvyn was shot in the chest. She died instantly and Wolf hid in the forest until the battle was over. That winter, Ferrrari died. The next spring, they set out for the Cimarron. In short, nobody recognized him, the eagle came and Esperanza realized it was Wolf. Spirit was in kinda denial, and was really grudgefull to Wolf, so Wolf got annoyed and took Kendal and the foals farther South, intending to start his own herd. Esperanza followed him while Rain stayed at the herd distracting Spirit and telling him about Wolf. The next day, Esperanza convinced Wolf to go home with her.
