Personality
Personality: A solemn, somewhat grim stallion, Night is steadfast and sturdy. He can be quite flirtatious from time to time, but usually isn’t, favoring a more serious side. He’s careful, and in his own odd way, a thrill seeker. He doesn’t cheer and laugh and have a good old time, but rather seeks danger out to keep clarity and exhilaration, a way to make everything sharp and always keep him alert. He’s a very odd stallion in that way, but is very kind and soft-hearted. He loves foals, and oftentimes, if he is grazing close enough to the herd, Hotspur’s foals – especially little Rhineland – love talking to him, and he doesn’t shy away from the opportunity to play with them. This is one of the few times his serious, stoic outside is cracked off to reveal a warm, playful core. He oftentimes runs about in strong storms, even when any other horse would have found shelter.
Temperament: Between Cold- and warm-blood?

History
Windy Nights was born in the Cimarron herd to an Appaloosa mare and Strider. He was born about the same time as his half-brother, Spirit. Once the time came, it was decided by the young stallion at the age of four years that he would be leaving the herd. Spirit seemed reluctant to see his brother leave, but Wind knew eventually his half-sibling would see that other stallions had no place in the herd. He travelled for quite awhile before meeting up with a mare by the name of Low Countree Lass. Within two days he’d nicknamed her Lassy, and learned of her past. She had been the filly of two trail horses from a nearby stable. She’d managed to jump the fence when a bad storm hit and she’d been left in the round pin, and now she was lost and alone.
So of course, Windy Nights felt sympathy for her and travelled with her. Lassy and Night wandered about for the next months until they found a valley. They wandered around the edges for several more weeks in search of a way in, and eventually found it. For around a month more, they lived together in peace, up until they met Hotspur’s herd. It was then that Windy Nights approached Hotspur, greeting them, but didn’t wish to join his herd. Lassy was a different case. She immediately wished to join, but before she had finally reached the decision, they’d moved down the valley. The two stayed together for quite awhile more, in which time Low Countree Lass seemed increasingly depressed and words between the two became increasingly awkward.
Windy Nights was not sure why the mare, now four years old, was acting the way she was, but it certainly made the six-year stallion uncomfortable. After awhile, they found the herd again and Lassy joined them. Immediately, Night was chased off. He stopped after a distance, looking back to see a very upset Lassy. A little filly eventually approached him. He soon found that her name was Rhineland. He talked with her for some time before befriending her and resolving that he’d stay as close to the herd as he could.

Thank you both. ^^ I'm glad you both like him! I must say I'm quite
fond of his design, though I still don't feel my designs can quite
match up to the top designers on the source. I've never been overtly
ambitious with this sort of thing, but here, if I want recognition,
I'll have to be. D: |
