History

Foal: As a foal Weather had a typical life, her mother and father struggled to keep her safe and happy. Weather at the time was the only foal born into the herd, which had greatly worried Spirit and rain for the survival of the herd and thier teritory. However Spirit, Rain , as well was the other herd mares, and what few Stallions there were, kept Weather safe. Cougar attacks where common place, but mroe so the wolves would try thier very best to pick off Weather, she was an easy meal for them and thier pups int he winter season. Luckily all atemps had failed. As she came into her first full year she had experianced being caught in an bilzzard & had almost fallen thru the thin ice of the frozen river. That same year she was taken back to the Lakota tribe to be shown off to Rain's previous rider Little Creek.

Filly: Weather was very adventurious, by now there had been another group of foals born, and she was now 2 years old. she would often go with her friend Spin a foal a year younger than her, up into the mountains. They would go everywhere together. However in a turn of unfortunate events, the two young equines were caught in an avalanche and she never saw Spin again. The young Weather never let herself forget what she had caused and became more stern and protective as the future leder of the herd.

Mare: She finally became of age at 4 years old, she had only two mares she could call her friends and would not ask for more. She had learned much of being a lead mare from her father and mother. Soon she would be ready to take head of the herd in her mother's sted as soon as she found a stallion to take lead that her father aprooved of. However Spirit wasn't easy to please and he felt no one was worthy enough. When Weather began to branch out further into the valleys that her herd roamed over, she met a Horse called Cedar who wanted to take over the valley. He was an elder horse and had a large family line. She doubled back to Spirit and told him of this knews. Cedar and Spirit agreed to share the valley equally. Often swaping herd members and so on to help one anothers herds grow and prosper. and then it happend...

Lead Mare: Timber son of Cedar, killed his father and framed it on Spirit. He then took up the rank as lead stallion, and tried to take over the cimarrons lands for himself.He bid the Strider & Cedar herds aainst one another. Weather was left to take care of the heartbroken mother and herd, with no other Stallions in the herd, Weather took up the Lead Stallios roll. this ment confronting The Cedar herd. She did not talk to Timber because she knew of his trickary, insted she went to his sons, Oak and Ash. Ash felt that his father could do no wrong, and rejected Weather perposal for peace, however Oak was curious, and offered to talk with his father. Timbe refused to back down from taking to take all of the Cimarron lands and sent his adoptive son, as ex-calvary horse named "The Real McCoy" aka McCoy over to the Strider herd as a spy. His job was to become The Lead Stallion and make Weather fall in love with him. However that Weather did not know is that she had seen McCoy before long long ago.....
