Personality: Toran's heart is colder than ice. Many years of pain and tough times made this large stallion finally block out all emotion. He is a ruthless skilled fighter and knows no mercy. He knows he's a big brute and uses this to his advantage. He's surprisingly level-headed for a Thoroughbred and is very intelligent... maybe too smart for his own good at times. He is only loyal to one horse, Dingo. Doesn't know exactly why, but there's something about the dusty colored stallion that he can draw a rare connection with.
Likes: Fighting. Staying fit. Patroling. Stealing mares. Working with Dingo. His freedom.
Dislikes: Pathetic stallions. His genetic disorder. Foals (because of his disorder). When a mare takes too much of a fancy to him (if that's even possible x3). Being idle. Containment.
Fears: "Do you really think I have any?"
Biography:
Toran was born a normal colt, he even grew up to be a two year with normal behaviour... but he was captive. He knew nothing of the free life of his ancestors out in the wilderness. He was born into a Thoroughbred racing breeder. He wasn't destined for the race track though. He was bred for fresh new blood in some of their stock.
By the age of four he was bred to his first three mares. Everything went smoothly with the mares for their terms. Toran was proud as a peacock at this time, especially since he was one of the few stallions at this particular stable. When the time for the foals to be born, Toran eagerly awaited in his paddock across from the foaling stables, his keen senses tuned in to everything going on inside.
Toran was soon broken-hearted... two of the foals were stillborn and the other died only hours after birth. Everyone was devastated, not knowing why this had happened. A little corner of Toran's heart died that day... The dark seal brown stallion was bred five more times, with similar tragic endings coming to the foals, before the breeder finally dubbed him with a genetic disorder. This turned the stallion bitter and he became unmanageable.
One night during transport he got loose from his handlers and took off into the wilderness, his already hardened heart slowly turning cold. In his pent up rage he led himself into a cougar's trap. Being unexperienced in how to defend himself against such a beast definitely made his escape even more surprising. Though the big cat did leave his mark on the stallion. Three large claw marks were left across his withers.
Over time Toran learned the way of the wild, he even bred to various mares that he stole from local herds. Though he would often abandon the mare on the outskirts of another herd, his unborn foal growing inside her. He never stayed long enough to see if any of his foals lived. He left the mare to deal with that on her own. If it lived, his bloodline continued... if it died, he wouldn't know it or feel the forgotten pain.
When his third year of being wild came along he met another stallion that somehow grabbed his attention....
