History

Sky's mother was a wild, white mustang who lived by herself without a herd. All Sky remembers aabout her is that she was as white as snow. Some how, a purebred fresian escaped from a nearby ranch and found the white mare. Soon the white mare was carrying a foal. The fresians owner came and retrieved the loose stallion. When sky was born, the white mare took care of sky. Then one morning, sky's mother went to check to see if it was safe for sky to come out in play. She never came back. Sky wandered among the plains for days. One day, from hunger and being very tired, she passed out. When she awoke, she was by a stream. In the stream was a Native American. His name was Shy Wolf. Shy Wolf nursed Sky back to health. Sky became his horse. Shy wolf raised sky into a proud, headstrong mare. One day the calvary attacked the Indian camp. In all the panic, Sky lost site of Shy Wolf. The camp was destroyed, and Sky was taken back to the calvary base. As much as she missed Shy wolf, sky grew to like the calvary. She came to be owned by a calvary member by the name of Sam Warren. She was happy as a calvary horse, but one cool autumn night, Sky woke to yelling and hollaring. An Indian tribe was attcking! Sky jumped out of the stamble and ran to find Sam. In all the panic, sky couldn't find him. Then Sam spotted sky. He called out for her, and delighted Sky turned to go to him. Then she heard another voice call out her name. Sky turned around. She froze. On the ground, wounded, lay Shy wolf. Sky's heart tore in two. Both her masters were calling her, and she had no idea who to run to. Sky couldn't choose. In horror, sky turned and fled She ran and ran and ran. She finally stopped on a hill. She looked down and saw a herd of horses. The sunset herd. Sky really liked an appaloosa stallion she saw watching over the herd. The next morning, Sky approached the herd. They acceppted her, and she lived there, always trying to inpress the lead stallion who's name she found out was Therefore.
