"I don't understand Flint, why does Bond think he can treat us this way?"
Flint
"He was raised as a stud most likely. The two-leggeds admire rare markings like that. Such horses are never taught the concept of herds, or other things; they think the world belongs to them. The two-leggeds give them whatever they want, food, water, shelter, ....mares. They don't have to work for respect, or have how to properly court mates. They just take, take, take. It's sickening really. He probably doesn't even realize what he's doing is wrong; but that was how he was trained. I've dealt with horses like him in the Calvary; if he isn't kept under control or his masters don't come to get him every horse within miles of here is in danger. You should warn our father. I'll have Crow warn Red Raven."

Bio: Was born on a ranch and due to his rare markings it was decided that if he was strong and healthy enough that he would be a stud horse. Bond grew fast and quickly outdid his siblings so he began to be trained for stud work amongst other things. The Two-Leggeds spoiled him and he became the most prominent stud horse on the ranch.
Bond was isolated from other horses unless it was time to be used which made him very aggressive and antisocial towards other horses. In his mind he owned everything and would attack any horse he saw was "beneath" him (which was everyone).
One day, he was put out to pasture when he saw a golden mare way out on the edge of the ranch. Bond had never seen her before but he wanted her. So, he jumped the fence in pursuit but she ran away from him; something no mare ever did before. He chased after her but he didn't know how to survive in the wilderness and quickly became lost; wandering into the Badlands where he encountered Flint's bachelor group. At first, Flint and the other horses greeted him but Bond was enraged at their "disrespect" and attacked them; bullying them relentlessly. Flint, Hawk, and Pewter, being the best fighters managed to chase him off but he vowed they would "pay with their lives for their treachery."
While traveling he noticed both Red Raven and Stone's respective herds and of course assumed they belonged to him and it was time for them to pay due. What he doesn't know is that neither Red nor Stone are willing to play.
But they must never underestimate the determination of the insane. He will have both herds, he WILL rule the Badlands.

So, this is my new "evil" horse and my new antagonist.
Yes, Stone is a jerkface but he isn't entirely a bad person just flawed... REALLY flawed.
Yes, he was named for James Bond, because I couldn't think of a name and my family dragged me off to see Skyfall and that movie was awesome and then the name stuck.
I created him because I wanted to explore the repercussions of horses raised in captivity especially with the breeding/stud aspect. How would such horses feel being forced to have several different partners at an outsiders' whim? I decided that many of them might lose their minds. Thus, Bond was created.
