Casey was born in the Cimarron herd, where she was raised. Her mother told her stories of the Calvary, and when she once lived there. Casey herd rumors that her father was a Calvary stallion who died in the war, but always thought they were not true. When she was older, she went off on her own. She disliked herd life, and wanted nothing to do with stallions who would force her to live in their herds. Casey ran into many stallions, who tried to force her to be lead mare of their herds. Os course Casey refused, and went on her way. While wondering in the woods, she came across a field, full of lush grass. She walked along, loving the feeling of the cool grass beneath her hooves. While walking along, she came across a stallion who was laying down, and looked wounded. Casey walked up to him, and gently nudged his face. The stallion awoke, and asked if she was an angel. Casey smiled, and nickered a no. The two got to know each other, and soon grew to love one another. Casey found out Legend had another mate, and questioned him about it. He told her he loved his mate, but loved her also. Legend told her he couldn't let her go, because she reminded him of what good things in life were. Casey would never forget the look on his face when they firts met, and would do anything to make him happy.
