History:
Harmony was born to a beautiful pale colored mare who lived all alone a valley where a large oak tree rested. Her foalhood was a lonely one with only her mother to play with her. Once in awhile she would get to play with a another foal when other herds come by sadly though they had to be careful that the band stallion didn't try and take them. They loved there little place and had no reason to leave. The old oak tree that they lived under was Harmony's favorite thing about their home. She watched it change through the seasons and how the land filled with wild flowers.
Her happier day would come to an end though as she grew life seemed to grow more dangerous. One day a palomino paint stallion came into their little valley. She seen many horses before but he was different and even though she wanted to greet him her mother thought it wise to stay hidden. She watched him try to join other herds but only to be kicked out. Her mother had told her it was best to leave him be. She listened to her mother knowing she was a wise horse who had seen alot in her time. When the stallion passed leaving behind the little very valley and the herds. Harmony found herself wondering if he had found a herd of his own or not. Life went on for her and her mother but when a fire took over the land burning everything. They fled the valley only to watch the old oak be in golfed in flames. The fire left nothing but ashes and they were forced to leave their home.
A year later after the fire her mother died leaving her with nothing but herself. She traveled for days on end looking for what she wasn't sure. A home? Family? She really wasn't sure. She walked and walked only to find herself being chased by cowboys who hoped to caught and sell her. Funny thing was she was fast on her hooves and the cowboys never stood a chance at catching her. She lead through trees and canyon only have them get lost and for her to find herself in new places far from her original home. She also met knew horse all the while avoiding stallions to keep from being caught and forced to stay. One herd though she had stayed near for a short time the stallion was a buckskin and his mate a painted mare. She would speak with her often and had become good friends with her though she was sad when she left the herd to keep moving on.
At the age of 5 years old Harmony found herself in a valley again it reminded her so much of home and while she was looking around she came across the stallion she had seen so many years ago with her mother. At first she wasn't sure what to do she had wanted to met him the first time she had seen him. Seeing this as her chance she walked over to him and his herd. When he greeted her the first that came out of her mouth wasn't what she had wanted to say. "Has anyone ever told you how beautiful you are?" When these words came from her mouth she quickly tried to correct herself only to find herself making a bigger fool of herself. If horses could blush she would have been beat red with embarrassment. Thankful he didn't take it badly like she thought her mite. In the end she found it really easy to talk with him and enjoyed it alot. She joined his herd and had made friends with the other mares. A few months had passed and Harmony had become one of his broodmare and was happy to be so for she cared deeply for him.(more to come with time and foals)
