:Biography:
The Disease
Iolani was born into a small band. Her foal-hood was a happy one, but her life took a sharp turn when she reached two years of age. A disease swiped through her family, taking them all out, leaving the poor filly alone. Consfusion and anger swept through her heart, sad and alone she didn't know where to go. Feeling so sore, she took herself to the main waterhole in hopes of coming in contact of more horses.
Two Birds of a Feather
Not long after lingering around the waterhole, two other fillies showed up, tears staining their cheeks. Iolani's bitterness quickly changed into a motherly caress for the other two. Her previous sweet gentle nature coming back to her. She stayed strong for Witchtucka and Eetayah. She never cried or even spoke of it with them, never wanting to bring back the pain.
Fish Out of Water
While wondering aimlessly through the Cimarron the three fillies came across an indian filly in distress. A rope around her neck had tangled all around some branches, leaving her vulnerable. Iolani took the situation with a level head and had Koi free in no time at all. For the rest of that day Koi tagged along with them, playing and having a wonderful time. When the time came for Koi to get back to her village she didn't want to leave her new found friends. Witchtucka and Eetayah didn't have to do much, but they convinced her to stay with them and travel together. Koi agreed and they hadn't looked back once. As time went on the girls grew an ubelieveably tight bond, acting like sisters.
Too Handsome to be Good
Iolani had taken the girls to their favorite grazing spot on a lovely sunny day. Iolani was always alert and keen to keep an ear out for trouble. Even though she often got nagged by the others telling her to loosen up a little. Iolani would roll her eyes and continue whatever. Her head shot up, there coming toward them was two stallions.
Iolani groaned inwardly, as Witchtucka suddenly perked up and sassily trotted up to the medicine hat...
