Peronality:  Darring, adventurious, competitve, and loyal. Alter has the mentality of a young prince, and the heart of a ranger. he is pressy in his looks & thin lean body however his height give him a slight edge at 17 hands. Alter is very social he loves being around others and is always up for a challenge. He isn't one for leadership, but he is great as a back up or a advisor of sorts. He usually doesn't think things out before doing them. Alter isn't good at good byes, he hates them due to his father leaving him at a young age. He rarely thinks about finding a mate or flirting, which has mares after him and yet makes them made when he shows little intrest.

Likes:  Jumping over things or across things. racing. friendly compititions. the feel of a nice breeze. spring time.

History

Alter Real was born in the cimarron herd, sometime after spirit and rain became the new leads. His family like had been cousins to Esperanza's family line. only Alter's mother was a rebal and mated with a runaway calvary draft horse. however the stallion left Alter Real after his mother passed away due to fatal wounds from the cougar that stalked the herd. Alter Real's father could not handle the loss and thus Alter Real was left alone. Alter real didn't let that bother him, he grew to be two years old and was quick open and socail. this attitude along with Alter reals growing hieght, made Spirit wary and eventually Spirit kicked Alter Real out of the herd. Alter Real was still very young and didn't know anything about being a rouge stallion. He didn't want to control a herd he just wanted a herd and a place that felt like a family.

One day a wildfire spread across the lands, Alter Real ran trying to find someplace safe, he saw what looked like a large sink whole ahead of him, it was dark and the smoke was clouding over everything. Alter real thought he would surly die by the flames as the sink hole ment he could go no further. but as he got closer to the sink hole he saw it wasn't a sink hole at all. Mist floated above it and as he got closer the smoke faded. Infront of him stood two stallions They told him to hurry down the hill and into the valley, that the fires never reached thier home. Alter real did as told and was suprised when he reached the bottom he was stunned, looking up behin him he could see a tree filled hill that looked like a great wall. "you'll be safe here" A gentle voice called. Alter real look infront of him there stood a palomino stallion, paint at that. Alter Real managed to say thank you and bowed slightly to him. The Stallion Told him his name was Odyssey, and said that the herd could use a large stallion like him for protection. Mistified by Odyssey, Alter Real stayed int he herd, and found it felt more like home than the cimarron herd ever did.
