History

Deep in a meadow, a mare & colt lay side by side, a stallion stood in the distance. She had just given birth to the colt. She whickered to the stallion, Odyssey, to come see him. The mare, Rabbit, nuzzled Odyssey as he snuffled the colt. "cowboy" they said in unison.

that was 5 months ago. Now the small, helpless foal bounced around, happy-go-lucky. "I never want to leave here!" He neighed, rearing up.The only thing he wanted to achive, was earning a permanent spot in the herd.

One day, a bunch of yearlings raced across a clearing, one on the outside passing each one of them with amazing speed. that colt was Cowboy. He sped into the distance, & looked back. They were quite a ways away, & he could think for a momment. Soon, his father would have to make up his mind about what to do with him. He watched as the small herd of colts sped past, & he jumped up & joined them.

(more to come) Adopted from Serpentine.
