History: Emilio was just a baby when his parents came over from Spain to the American west. His parents had a small farm where they grew their own food. Emilio loved playing with his father and helping his mother with chores. When he turned ten his parents bought him a small white poney, he was so happy, he was immediatley in love with his new poney. As he grew older his father began to change, he began to drink a lot and get violent at times. His father started beating on him and his mother. One day he watched his father leave to go drink at a local saloon, he waited all day hopping his father wouldn't be violent when he came home. But his father never came home, he rode into town the next morning to find out his father died durring a bar fight that night. At his funeral Emilio was sad but relieved his father was gone, he and his mother would be able to relax a little now that he was gone.

Years went by and Emilio his mother and his faithful companion Adelio stayed in their small little farm house. Emilio began training and breeding horses to bring money in. He never kept any of the horses he bred except for a small chestnut mare. His mother was in love with the little mare and he couldn't bring himself to sell her. One day Emilio was walking the property with Adelio when he heard Adelio beguin to bark and run ahead of him. He thought he was simply chasing after a bird or rabbit till he heard the cries of a foal. Emilio ran over and saw the scared little pain colt neighing and pulling at the snare tightly wrapped around his leg. Emilio shooed Adelio away so he wouldn't startle the colt anymore the he was, he carefuly calmed the colt down and took the scare off its leg. He gently carried the colt back to the farm where he cleaned the wound and wrapped it up. He put the little colt in the stable with the chestnut mare to rest. A few months went by and Emilio had decided to keep the little colt and named him Hildalgo.
