History

Jose was born in The Wild, as a young foal he was seperated by his mother in a storm, and she was killed by a lightening strike. He learned to roam around on his own in search for help, he was finally found by a mare named Zipporah, with her she had an elder foal that he could tell was not her own. This foals name was rain. He and rain played for a while, Jose told her what happend to his mother, and Rain siad that her real mother had passed away as well. Rain told him that Zipporah was her mother now and that she could be his mother too. Jose looked up at Zipporah with those big blue eyes and Zipporah could never refuse this lost and lonely foal a mother. So Zipporah took him in as her own.

Even so Jose always had a love for storms he felt that his real mother lived within them, and that the wind from the storms was her calling his name, the thunder was her hooves beating the sky as she ran alongside him. everytime it storms he runs to be with his mother again.

When Jose was older Zipporah gave birth to a foal whom she named Hesra, she birthed her by a Draft Stallion named Hotep. Hotep & Jose had always had a father and son bond. but the day Hotep left Zipporah for another mare whom had stolen his heart, Jose was bitter towards him. Luckily Jose forgave him, but he wanted nothing more to do with Hotep. He never shared this strong dislike for Hotep with his younger sister Hesra, as he didn't want to be the reason of casing a rift in the relationship with her and her father. Fortunetly Hesra never really got to know Hotep personally.

Jose was able to meet his sister Rain's mate Spirit when Rain as him and the rest of her Lakota family to visit her herd in the Cimarron. Jose and Spirit became close, they both loved the feeling of running until thier legs wanted to give way. They both had a figure of nature be it the eagle or Storms that made them feel safe, free and at home. Spirit began calling Jose brother. Jose greatly looked up to Spirit and was saddened to have to say goodbye to him when he and his family headed back to the tribe.
