Personality: Opal is a very sweet mare who cares a great deal about others. She enjoys pleasing anyone and always tries her best. Sometimes her emotions can get the best of her and she ends up needing her own Protector, which is usually Cougar.

Relations:

Cougar: Her "father" who she loves dearly. She would do anything for him and always tries to please him.

Raphael: She loves hearing the stories about him and holds each one dearly, though she's never seen him. She doesn't know it, but he has watched her often since he views her as his grandaughter.

Biography:

            Opal is seen as Cougar's daughter. When she was only days old he had found her curled up in the woods, no other horse in sight. From that day on he took care of the little filly. Opal is very sensitive and some Protectors don't think she would make a good Protector, but she is determined to make her father proud. It’s nearly impossible for one to be in a foul mood with her around.
