H I S T O R Y

Comfort was born and raised in the lakota village. she and rain where born on the same day, the same hour, the same minute, on the very same second, by two different mares. they were trained together, they played together. they were always together. When Spirit came along, thier friendship was in danger in Comforts eyes. As rain fell in love with him, she spent less time with Comfort. when rain left with spirit Comfort followed, as rain didn't want to leave her behind. In the cimarron, Spirit made Comfort one of his mares, however Rain still remaind his favorite. Comfort didn't like the idea of being one out of many mares, not only that she didn't love spirit in any kind of way. However he cared for her, almost as much as he did rain. Rain's heart would break everymoment she watched him with the other mares. Comfort talked spirit into being a one mare stallion and pleaded rains case. Spirit desided she was right, and made Rain his only mare that was his mate and made her lead mare.

Comfort was unhappy in the cimarron and rain had grown up and had her own foals. Comfort wanted this and it was obvious she had not a future there. so Comfort left she had heard of rumor of a growing herd in the southern parts of the land. she set out in search for it. and soon she was greeted by a roan mare, blue roan. she had kind eyes but they were very fleeting, she could tell this mare was not a leader in her heart. Her name was Americana and she was the lead mare of the Sorraia herd. She took Comfort with her to her herd, and told her mate the lead stallion Nine Eleven to let her into the herd. it was not a good time for new horses to come as an plague was spreading through the lands, so Nine Eleven rejected her, for her own safty, but Americana wouldn't have it, she dubbed Comfort her child, Nine had no Choice but to keep the red roaned paint marked mare as apart of his herd.,

While in the herd, she found a little foal whom has motherless his mother had passed away because of hte plague, he was crying over her dead body. Comfort's heart broke for him as he said his momma wouldn't wake up and he was hungry. Comfort didn't have the heart to tell him she was gone forever, but she had milk, she had always had a problem of lactating even though she had never had a foal before, for some reason she always had to much milk. She feed the foal, and over time he came around to calling her momma. He hadn't a propper name yet, so she called him fort. Fort had a best friend an adult Horse, a geldling named Obsidian, fort introduced Obsidian to Comfort and slowly pushed the two to get closer to each other until over time they fell in love and became mates, now Fort had a mother and father.
