History:

She was born in a small paddock. Her mother was an OTTB breeding mare, but she had a mate. Phoenix's mother wasn't going to leave her old owner, and so she taught her filly how to be caring and loyal. Phoenix would often stare into the forest, wondering when she would see her father again. She also wondered about the wild, which her father was to blame.

Phoenix's mother noticed and once her daughter was 1 1/2 and weaned, she gave in and told her daughter to go. Phoenix was glad, but she was also confused. She leaped the small fence in no time and ran into her father, a perlino stallion. He took her and taught her the ways of the wild. When she turned 2, she left her father.

She spent 9 years alone, running, and being a mare. She never let any stallion near enough to breed with her, and she never joined a herd. She was called the lone mare, but when she turned 10, she knew it was time to find a mate. 

She started her search in late fall and found Patriot in late spring. She was happy and is with him currently.
