H I S T O R Y

Mariabella's mother Gracia was a nurse back in the days of the civil war. There she has a quick fling with the Colonel and was soon pregent with mariabella. The colonel found out and was horrified as his best friend was in love with her. This friend soon woed Gracia over and not long after Mariabella wa born became the Prisident. so the family moved down to the south were the president was to stay. Mariabella grew up on a cattle ranch, her mother was soon considered a "cattle King" as it grew rapidly. Marriabella was raised with horses all her life. Her step father gave her her first horse Argentino as a birthday gift. When Mariabella got older she lost her mother to an illness. when She noticed her adoptive father was not as torn apart about it as she was to to busy with his duties to comfort her she ran away with Argentino and her mothers old horse. she ran all the way to the north, and found work in the company. The colonel reconized her quickly and gave her a place to stay in his house. he also got her a job as a nurse.

While there at the calvary Maria met a group of friends some people her age. there was Talula Rue a red hiared girl whom was also a nurse on the base, Ash, was the sun of the General, and Cho a short girl who was an orphan and the whole base kind of treated her like thier child. Maria and these three became close friends. Ash had even started to grown a fancy for her. One night she had an agruement with the colonel about him being her real father. not being able to take all the lies Mariabella ran away from the calvary and was captured by the Lakota. the US army had not sent them thier beef and supplies so they were starving while there was also a plague going on in the tribe. They were going to hold her hostage until the army sent the promised supplies. mariabella went willing however because she wanted to help them. She sent a messanger pegion to Ash back at the calvary, he and Cho went out to save her but were caught as well. Over time in the lakota village Mariabella's friend cho fell in love with the indain boy Little creek. because of this Little Creek set mariabella and her friends free. However Cho found out that the tribe was going to kill him for the betrayal and pleaded with Mariabella to help save him from his own people. So mariabella though of a plan. She left the plan to Ash and Cho to complete while she herself rode to the South she was going to tell her adoptive father about what the army was doing to the Lakota and see if he could stop it.
