H I S T O R Y

Rancho was born the twin of Esperanza, both foals struggled in health for the first few months of thier life. But as twin thier bond was very strong and they helped each other through it. It wasn't long before the were as strong and as healthy as the other foals of there time. Rancho and Esperanza were a thick as thieves, and Rancho followed his sister in any choice she would make. When Strider came along Rancho took to him quickly and the two stallions became fast allies. When Strider went missing from the herd Esperanza begged Rancho to go out and find him. Not being able to say no to his twim sister Rancho set out in search for the black stallion. When word reached Rancho that Esperanza was expecting a foal, he gave up the search to return to the herd. However before he could return he was caught by the calvary. not being as head strong as his sister he was easily broken. yet the fire for the wild within him did not die out. He was determined to return to his herd one day.

After years of being in the calvary Rancho became callused and much more harsh, towards humans and other horses alike. However there came a day when a young strong Bucksin stallion was caught into the calvary and this stallions fight to stay untamed inspired Rancho. But what about this stallion was so familiar. Rancho teamed up with the stallion in breaking the other horses out of the calvary, once freed the two went thier seperate was as the bucksin stallion was captured by the lakota, and Rancho was not going to loose his freedom again. he returned to his herd and was greeted warmly but his sister and friends. After a few months that same Bucksin stallion came to the herd, with a paint mare. It was finally revealed to Rancho that this was Stallion Spirit was none other than Esperanza's foal.
