H I S T O R Y

Babieca was born in the Calvary Stables, Breed between two Spanish Mustangs. Her foal years were blissful within the calvary and she was thought as the pride a joy of the horses there in. However as she grew she was exposed more and more to the darker sides of the Calvary. When she hite the one year mark in her life span, She had to face the truth about why so many horses come into the calvary and where they come from. Broken, they called it. To take a wild out of a horse, It was aweful, more so it was more than Babieca could take. she lived on tryin gto ignore the fact. However it never seemed to leave her mind. Another thought flew through her head. What was it like? beyound the drylands that the calvary had been built was was it like where the wild ones where from. Eventually her curiousity became to much for her in her second year of life, she ran free fromt he calvary and into the wild blue yonder. 

Babieca found out that life was hard out on her own. Thier was rain without shelter, food with out water, and no safe places to sleep. things made aweful sounds in the night. Plus there wasn't that blanket to keep her warm on cold days. Wild life was tough, and Babieca was not strong enough for it. Not long in her new wild life she caught a plague. Knowing that she desperately needed help, she went to seek shelter with the nearest herd in the Area. The Cimarron herd. It's leads where Spirit & Rain. They let her stay taking pitty on her, but if it had not been for the words of thier son The Shadowless, they would not have taken her in. Babieca's illness had quickly spread to many of the herd members, one of whom being Spirit himself. It wasn't long before Spirit passed away. The Shadowless was now the head of the Herd. Rain and many of the others horses wanted Babieca gone, they thought she was a curse to the herd, and blame her for Spirits death as if it had been on purpose. The Shadowless wanting to make sure his herd was happy and that Babieca was safe, set out with her to find Babieca a new herd to live with. However along the way. Babieca fell for the the stallion, and he for her. The Shadowless had finally found his shadow in Babieca and could not let her go, he returned with her to the Cimarron and made her his mare. Though Babieca was never truely accepted back into the herd. and because of this, The Shadowless' rank was lead was tested with a challenge.
