H I S T O R Y

The Shadowless is the son of Spirit and Rain, the two leads of the Cimarron herd. He was named The Shadowless as he was born on what the Humans call Ground Hog day now. He's shadow did not appear on the ground the day he was born. Now he is called The Shadowless because in accordance to his father Spirit, It is said when he runs he out runs his own Shadow. The Shadowless is more like his mother, with a silently coy nature, and he has a gentle but ferm rule over the horses in his fathers herd. as natural born hier to the rank lead stallion, he already has some pull over his herd mates, and the mares there in. The Shadowless has never had any aspects of over throwing his father, when his day comes, he know it will be given to him. In his mind the Rank as Lead Stallion is not to be taken but gifted.

His life gets turned around on it's back when a mare, a run away from the Calvary, by the name of Babieca wanders into his herd. she is sick and with her she brings a plague that is spread throught the herd. this plague takes the life of The Shadowless' father Spirit. Many of the Horses think that Babieca is a bad omen a curse to the herd. they thought that she was sent on purpose by the calvary. However The Shadowless knows this is not so and protects the Mare. However to make peace with his peers he offers to find her a new herd to join. On thier journey, they fall in love, and The Shadowless finds he cannot let her leave his side. They return to the Cimarron herd. and now The Shadowless faces regaining the love of the other horses. A new Stallion arises and tried to take his rank, and drive The Shadowless and Babieca out.
