Storm of the Cimarron

Born from one of the herd's younger mares, and the the first born of the herd's stallion. Storm was always getting into trouble and slightly a bully to even the older horses and not even his mother could sometimes control him. His father sometimes had to be taken from his duties to control his own son.

Then he met Nara. When her, her mother, and other mares appeared after a terrible snow storm, Storm's father brought them home to his herd and they became a new part of his family. Storm would often try to show off to Nara to try to get her attention, but nothing worked. She would always turn a cold shoulder to him. It continued like that until Storm grew a mature age, along with Nara. A stallion tried to clame her as his own, and Storm fended him off, and during a snow storm much like the one that caused Nara and her herd to split, Storm kept Nara warm.

Nara soon was pregnant with her and Storm's first and only foal. If it wasn't for Storm, both would have died by a cougar. Storm was there in time to protect his mare and unborn child, but he himself was not so lucky. The cougar barley got away with it's life, but that didn't mean that it didn't win. Nara lost him that night, but she carried his unborn legacy.
