History

Nara of the Cimarron

The mother of Samba and the proud lead mare of the stallion Storm. Born and raised as a wild mustang of the West, all Nara has known was freedom. Even when young she was wise and hopes to pass her knowledge over to Samba, who she hopes to become the important part of the herd and be lead mare.

Storm and Nara grew together, after her and her mother and a few other mares where found seperated from their herd after a bad snow storm, but because of Storm's ambitious ways, Nara was drawn away from him and often ignored him. After Storm started acting respectful and responsable and showed Nara that he can earn her trust and love by protecting her from other stallions and keeping her warm during the harsh snow storms, Nara opened up to him more.

Nara soon was pregnant with her and Storm's first and only foal. If it wasn't for Storm, both would have died by a cougar. Storm was there in time to protect his mare and unborn child, but he himself was not so lucky. The cougar barley got away with it's life, but that didn't mean that it didn't win. Nara lost him that night, but she carried his unborn legacy.
