History:
Juliet was born into the Lakota village by a beautiful liver chestnut mare. She was one of her first foals to be born from her father Sand storm. She was well loved by both of them. She was their pride and joy and they always had great promise for her. She often played with the foals of the village looking for friends. As a yearling while she was out with her mother on a stroll they came across a stallion he was large stallion who strolled straight towards with him. He had power behind him and scars. He was simply frightening and when he spoke it was deep and harsh. He was there for Bella who had placed herself between Juliet and the stallion. “leave now” Her mother demanded of him but he just laughed and came closer.
She was very sure that the stallion wanted her mother and she just couldn’t let that happen. She had to find her father he would help right? Without looking at her mother spoke quietly. “Go get your father quickly Juliet.” She said and Julie ran looking back at her mother for a moment before crying out for her father. Sure enough moments later her father came running towards her with fear in his eyes. “What is wrong Juliet?” “There is a stallion on the out skirts of the village trying to take mommy away.” She said quickly and her father nudged her towards another mare who had come up when she heard all the noise. Her father charged out towards where her mother was.
The mare kept her there so she never did know what happened for sure all she knew was that she could hear her father’s and the stallion’s outraged cries. She waited for her mother and father hoping everything would be alright but as the sounds died down she heard her mother cry out now. Tears filled her eyes as she waited but she was only met with silences. She feared the worst and the mare hugged her to her. About an hour later her father appear wounded and weak from the fight. She could believe it She knew right away what had happened her father had lost the fight and her mother was now gone. After that day her father was never the same.
Years had passes and she became a beautiful mare and her rider was kind to her always using gentle hands on her. She often stood next to her father in the war parties but only on the smaller one. She become well known in the village and was always getting treats or talked to. However sometimes she would leave for a few days to travel a bit and one chance she came across a pale mare who seemed very surprised to see her and that her mother’s name was Bella. She soon learned that her mother was alive and that she had another foal from the stallion she spoke of. She wanted to meet her but the herd lived to far for her to travel there. She hoped one day she could meet her again.
