Bio

Vinyl was born in the cimarron herd, before Spirit was born. Her mother was good friends with Esperanza, and her father with Strider. They were happy there, and would always be. Her mother fell pregnant with another stallion, which made her mate angry. He left her, and sadly, never saw her again. When Esperanza had Spirit, she learned how hard it was to be a mother.

A few months later, she gave birth to Vinyl. Vinyl and Spirit used to be best friends, but she would never tell him she had a  crush on him. She played around with him everyday, and when she was sad, she always had his shoulder to cry on. But that all changed as Strider died and Spirit had to take responsibility as lead stallion. As they matured, they became friends again, but Vinyl couldn't help but notice Spirit had changed. When he was captured by the cavalry, she tried to follow, but Esperanza stopped her.

Vinyl made a promise to herself that when Spirit returned she would tell him her feelings. She thought about him everyday. Her mother and Esperanza got worried about her. When Spirit returned, she began to gallop to him, but when she saw Rain and him together, she skidded to a halt, knowing they were in love. She ran off before Spirit saw her. She was hearbroken, and needed a special stallion to mend it together.

When she was in the forest a few days later, she ran into a piebald stallion called Thunder. She learned that they were siblings, and was furious with her mother that she didn't tell. She wanted to storm back to the cimarron herd, but she calmed down and told herself it was no use.
