Ashra is number one when it comes to his words, he can pit a smile on anyone's face and brighten anyone's day. He put's his family first and put's his life on the line for them. Ashra doesn't wish any harm on anyone and doesn't believe in getting even but he will protect himself and his herd if he has to but he will try to resolve problems by talking first. If you need help or a shoulder to cry on Ashra is always there to help. It's very rare for Ashra to have complete hatred towards anything (though it has happened before)
Parents: Mother-Sunset, Father- Pistolas (Note! Ashra doesn't know his father or his half sister personally)
Siblings: Unknown, but he does have a half sister named Feather (RainSpirit11)
Crush: Mirage
Mate: Mirage
Foals: None
Relastionships:
Sunset- Ashra's mother. Sunset and Ashra were tied together from minute one when he was born, Sunset was as gentel as a feather. Ashra learned a lot from his mother including helping others and to treat anyone with kindness and respect. which is why he is so kind-hearted today.
Spirit- When Ashra was already on his own he thought that he was prepaired for the world. When he was on his daily walks he met Spirit one day in the canyons. They quickly became civil with each other however, Spirit taught Ashra a lot more things than what he knew. Spirit taught Ashra how to fight off enemy stallions or cougars and to fend for himself. Without Spirit, Ashra would still be vulnerable.
Mirage- a mare that Ashra meet when they were running from wanglers. Mirage is clever and brave at times a little stubborn. Ashra fell in love with Mirage after seeing how she reacted towards his herd escpesially the foals, she made everyone feel special and the foals loved her. She had a motherly side to her. Ashra gained the courage to tell her how he felt about her, he was scared because she was a little mature than he was and she was tough with a heart made of iron the exact opposite than he was. But when it came down to him revealing his feelings for her, she couldn't be happier and agreed to be his mate. Ashra has Mirage on a high pedistool. "Opposites attract"
Waterfall- Ashra's best friend and the only companion that related to Ashra. Waterfall is like a hippie: he respects nature and dislikes violence. Ashra and Waterfall became easy friends when they met due to similar interests. Waterfall teaches the other horses how to live in peace when he sees one of them fighting. Ashra is happy to have a peacemaker in the herd.
Cremelo- a (beautful) mare that once stole Ashra's heart and convinced him to be with her instead of Mirage. Ashra was only attracted to her once due to her beauty but he witnessed the harm and harsh words she put on the herd. She tried to be leader and forced the herd out of their true home to where she wanted to be, she only wanted power. Ashra saw how miserable and homesick his herd was so, he left her, and grew a great hatred torwards her.
The Twins- two orphan foals (brothers) that look up to Ashra. He loves playing with these two. Ashra sees them as his own sons.
Rain- a jet black friesian mare that Ashra met in the Red Oak canyons and the newest member in Ashra's heard. She's still pretty new and has a lot to learn about the herd and its history but already she's made a few friends. She started to have a crush on Ashra but fell in love with Waterfall. She's expecting a foal soon.
Herd: the Mother Wind Herd
History:
Not much is said about Ashra's past, but he was born into a clean slate. He doesn't know much of his father since his mother was the only one that raised him, but she would tell Ashra stories about how great his father was: strong, brave, and heroic. However most of these stories were lies, his father was a rogue stallion that didn't wish to take on the responsibility of raising a foul and abandon both Ashra, and his mother to fend on their own. However, his mother didn't want her son to grow up despising his father and possibly impact his life. Ashra didn't have a father, or any male figure to look up to, so he never learned how to defend himself, but his mother taught him the basics of survival, for instance, looking for good land to graze and good supply of water nearby. She also taught him that violence was not always the answer to every problem, which is how he became the gentle stallion he is today. He grew up with those lessons, and became the most caring, gentel stallion you'll ever meet. When it was time for Ashra to be on his own, he wasn't even old enough. He thought that he had enough knowledge to be independent, but he was wrong, when he ventured off too far from home, and he wasn't familiarized with his surroundings or the new scents around him. He became lost and day by day he started to panic the more he traveled further.
His luck changed when one day he came across a place he would call his permanent home. when he was walking on his own in the Red Oak canyons he found great interest in the red colored rock that created ripples and swirls on the walls, so he made it his home. He found a little quiet water creek nearby which was perfect and the canyon walls and floors were growing scrub vegitation just in case he ever got hungry. However Ashra wasn't alone in the Red Oak canyons every now and then he would stumble across lost horses that couldn't find their way out of the canyon maze and of course Ashra was happy to help. He would take them to his resting spot which had food and water. Some horses felt so comfortable that they never wanted to leave! And the horses that did, gave Ashra a great reputation. More horses came and Ashra grew a small family out of these lost horses and had made it his own little herd.
Relation to Spirit: he came across Spirit when traveling. He had taught him a few lessons on surviving, he has a very special place in his heart
