History
As a Foal
Pedro and his twin brother Celtic grew up on a large Stud farm in the country. Their father was a well-known stud stallion and show horse, although they never really saw him. Pedro and Celtic were always running after one another, but Celtic was one of those foals that couldn’t stay on his feet, so Pedro was always helping him up.
As a Teen:
As Pedro and Celtic reached their teen years, Celtic became a real show off, whereas Pedro was always making new friends and talking to the girls. When it came time for the boys to be sold, Celtics show off personality caught the eye of a rich show horse owner, so he was bought and taken to be a show horse, whereas Pedro was quieter but had many friends. That’s when McKenzie James came along. She fell in love with the little Pintaloosa yearling and bought him straight away, taking him to Eagardale Stud.
As an Adult
Pedro was broken in and trained to become a Show horse. After he had been entered in a couple of shows people started commenting on his amazing colour and patterns. One person suggested that he should become a stud stallion, and that is what happened. Pedro Picasso became one of the greatest show horses, and Stud Stallions in the Country.
