Misc.

He has girlish looks, and is a persnickety eater. Moskau allows him to stay in his herd because he is useful, follows orders and gives Diesel someone to play with.

Personality:

He is fairly expressive and inquisitive. He has a knack for trickery much like Diesel does, but has less brute force to defend himself with. He can also be a jealous creature, often wishing he were more like Diesel ,but Petrol lacks the muscle and reckless courage. He’d much rather think his way out of a fight. He takes orders/dares from Diesel- and is almost always compliant ever since Diesel could give orders. He does have a secret wish to win over Moksau into treating him with admiration and reverence. He’d also like to get to know Killdeer- after he finds him. These desires are kept on the inside, thus he is a tricky creature, but he does have more of a motive behind his actions than Diesel usually does. He gets teased for being girly- and shares some of Diesel’s bad reputation, but unlike Diesel, horses don’t have to be nice to him/respect him because he isn't next in line.

History:

He was born to Gasolina after she roamed with another stallions herd for a while; she is fond of wandering even though she is lead mare. Moskau lives with it.  He was born weak and thin, and stayed that way until adulthood. It was thought Petrol wasn’t going to survive his first winter, when he did- herd-mates joked that it was the spirit of his mustang father: Killdeer. He could be mistaken for a mare from a distance now as an adult. He is fairly speedy, and is most often seen trailing after Diesel on the outskirts of the territory. He doesn’t really have a set position in the herd but Moksau trusts him enough to appoint him a guard position.

Diesel trusts him fully, and this has earned him a rare place by his younger half brother’s side. Petrol dreams of meeting up with his sire someday, but that would mean he’d have to leave the herd to go look for him. Gasolina might know where he is, but would she tell him?

*Unspecified for now.

Role in the Spirit Universe:

He is the son of a horse freed by Spirit. He has heard the tale of Spirit and his father's escape many times.
