History |
My story is simple than what others would like to lead on. I was born in a small herd in the Heart of the Cimarron. We then called it the Heartland. My mother was one of the lead stallions many mares. she wasn't anything to special and neither was I. I was born with a twin brother Spirit walker he was later called. He was always sickly then. Our herds stallion was killed by a powerful rouge whom wanted to take over all of the Heartlands herds. But you know us mares. we can't stand for that. My mother and the other mares the stallion had taken, rallied against him. most including my mother did not survive. I and my brother where forced to run for our lives.
I raised my brother, as a 6 month year old foal i became the momma. It never bothered me much. as a 3 year old filly My brother and I came across a palomino foal, female. She was crying besides a white mare...her mother, whom had been a victim of the same stallion we had run from years ago. Her name was Esperanza. I took her in and raised her. Over time Essy grew up and at 2 years old she left to be with a young stallion named strider she had fallen for. My brother and I moved on. We traveled out towards the riverlands. There we found a tribe. I got my leg caught in the Indain human cougar trap. My brother ran to get help, he lead the Tribes Prince to me. His name was White fang, I was scared, but one look in his eyes and i knew i was safe, and that we were home.
White fang nursed me back to health and I became his horse. I've been at his side ever since. A young mare came into the tribe, she was as wild as the moutain rivers. And very afraid even if she didn't want to say so. Her name was Seirra. I liked her. she Liked a young paint horse in the tribe. White Fang tried to break her and gentle her, but she was far to wild, I set her back straight. she came around over time, never broken but, gentler to the humans. she died in child birth...but not before calling me...mother. Seirra's foal was left parentless when her father died of a broken heart. so I took little rain and raised her as my own. You know her story..so I'll skip that for now. Forgive me this old mare is tired, i end the story there...for now..... |
