Related to Spirit: River grew up in the Lakota tribe, and Rain in her aunt.

History: River was born outside her mother and fathers herd after they were seporated during a storm. Her father Sage was very protective of the two and always made sure she didnt stray too far from him or her mother. River was easily startled as a foal, wheather it was a squirrle russling in the bushes or her stepping on a twing. The only time she felt peace was when she slept next to her mother. One day River and her mother were grazing by themselves when a stallion appeared and stole them from Sage. They were forced back to his herd where River met Dagger. She watched him bully the other foals around and was nervous to go play. She saw a small colt by his self and felt sorry for him and walked over to play with him. She soon learned that his naame was Ruki and he was the lead stallion's son, she Ruki and Dagger soon became friends. Months went by before Aedah and River escaped the herd  and re-joined Sage and their herd. When River got older she became more tolerent of her jumpy nature, she spent her morning grazing with her mother and her afternoons racing with her father. When she finaly desided it was time to leave her parents she was a strong independant mare. One day while grazing she was startled by the sound of a gunshot in the not so far distance, she galloped as fast as she could and slamed into Blitz who was just passing through. The impact knocked River out for a bit and when she awoke she saw Blitz standing over her.
